Facebook rolls out file sharing for groups

With file sharing services like Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft Skydrive becoming a rage, one would think how could Facebook miss out on the party. It turns out that are not. In an exclusive report by Mashable, Facebook reveals that a File sharing feature is coming to groups. The roll out starts to a small percentage of groups initially, but later the feature will trickle down to the entire Facebook user base.
To curtail piracy and hacking, Facebook will not allow sharing of music and .exe files, but small videos, comics, ebooks, and music videos will be allowed. The company will have a maximum file size of 25MB, the same as Gmail.  Currently over 380 million people use Facebook groups and Facebook says file sharing was the most asked for feature. We are pretty sure that this feature will be very popular.
