Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S III in India from its
online retail store.
The store, which is still in beta, is offering consumers the option to
book their units for Rs 2.000 and was first spotted by our friends at
Fonearena.
Samsung is also promising a free gift with every booking though it is
not revealing details of the gift or the price of the phone. In the past
Samsung has bundled covers and Bluetooth headsets as freebies.
The Galaxy S III is already set to
become Samsung’s best-selling smartphone of all time as reports trickle
in about it already having
pre-booked 9 million units worldwide.
Samsung will be launching it first in Europe on May 29 followed by its
India launch, which is expected to happen in the first week of June
itself.
