However, our contact was skeptical around the plethora of news stories highlighting Liquidmetal Technologies’ potential involvement in the iPhone 5.”
Images of what is said to be the housing for Apple’s upcoming sixth-generation iPhone were leaked last week, and they featured an aluminum rear-cover as well as a thinner form factor and a new smaller dock connector. BGR reported in December that Apple plans to launch a redesigned iPhone this coming fall, and Apple’s “iPad mini” is expected to be a smaller tablet model with a 7.85-inch display and a price tag starting between $200 and $250.
