Twitter revamps Android and iPhone app experience with expanded tweets, custom notifications

Twitter has released its latest versions of iPhone and Android apps. With this release Twitter has massively revamped app experience, which includes expanded tweets and better notifications. Twitter’s partnership with NASCAR, MLB and Kickstarter also comes into effect with the new update for the iOS and Android apps. One will be able to view details and images, along with the Tweets of an event. Additionally, users will also get summaries of news articles.
Twitter has even improved the core search experience, with a search autocomplete, which allows users to find more content. Push notifications have been added and users will get notifications for selected user tweets or even retweets. Users will be manually turn-on mobile notifications via an action button. And finally, the new Twitter logo also gets incorporated in both the iOS and Android apps.
