HP has launched the Spectre XT UltraBook in India which starts at Rs 64,990 for the base configuration. The Spectre XT flaunts a super-slim form factor that is 14.5mm thin and has a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
HP marries all this panache with an Intel third generation IVY bridge i5 dual-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, 4GB of RAM, 128GB SSD (256GB SSD is optional), Intel integrated graphics, Beats Audio, a multi-card reader, a 4-cell lithium-ion battery, and a HP TrueVision web camera.
The Spectre XT does not only look good and packs a lot of power, but also offers a number of connectivity options to the end-user. It has one HDMI port, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0, and also has a slot for a Kensington Lock.
HP integrates a back-lit keyboard and also a multitouch enabled TouchPad. The Spectre XT will come preloaded with Windows 7, but it will be readily upgradable to Windows 8 which launches next month on the 26th.
