Huawei launches Ascend G300, Y200 Android smartphones in India

Huawei today announced it has launched the first two Android smartphones from its Ascend series – the G300 and Y200. Both smartphones run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and are priced at Rs 13,490 and Rs 8,190 respectively.
The Ascend G300 features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, FM radio and a 1GHz processor. Huawei claims its battery can charge from zero to full in 120 minutes. The Ascend Y200, on the other hand, features a 3.5-inch HVGA IPS display, a 800MHz IPS display, dual-mic for noise cancellation and a 1,250 mAh battery that can be charged in 90 minutes.
