Nokia could launch PureView 808 on June 13 in India

Nokia has invited us to a press conference on June 13, which in all likelihood should be about launching the PureView 808 in India. The event would be addressed by Nokia India’s head of smart devices, Vipul Mehrotra, and Dolby Labs India country manager Pankaj Kedia.
For those wondering why Dolby would be present at the PureView 808 launch, we should mention that the device not only has a monstrous 41-megapixel camera  sensor but also has some Dolby Digital wizardry that lets it record sounds up to 140 Decibels without any distortion.
All the tech stuff aside, what we will be looking at is the price tag, which would essentially decide whether it will replace our stand-alone point-and-shoot camera or not. Of course, we will be on the ground reporting every bit.
