9to5mac is reporting that Apple Stores have “overnights” planned for July 24, which is usually an indicator of something new being available the next morning. In this case, it could be utilized for updating all Macs to Mountain Lion. Earlier Apple had announced it will launch Mountain Lion in July and it will be available to users for $19.99 and can be bought from the Mac App Store.
Mountain Lion brings over 200 new features as Apple tries to close the gap between iOS and Mac OS. Some key iOS features like iCloud, iMessage, notification center, game center as well as tighter integration with Facebook and Twitter. Users will be able to keep their iOS devices and Macs in sync not only with data but even tabs open in Safari, reminders and notes. OS X Mountain Lion will also bring dictation support throughout the OS.
