Apple releases OS X Mountain Lion Golden Master build to devs: Report

Apple is slated to release OS Mountain Lion to the public this later month and giving more fruition to this is the fact it has started releasing the Golden Master Build of the OS to application developers, if 9to5Mac report is to be believed. The Golden Master Build of OS X is similar to Microsoft’s RTM build of Windows and it is basically the final release of the OS before public release.
Additionally, Apple has also started asking developers to submit their apps before the release of the OS. Through features like Game Center, developers will be able to take advantage of the cross platform synergy between iOS and Mountain Lion. Looks like the OS is incoming soon, though Apple is known to release multiple builds of the Golden Master. Nevertheless, one has to admit that at $19.99, OS X Mountain Lion seems like a very enticing update for Mac users.
