First wave of Windows 8 Xbox Live games announced

Many people are wondering with Windows 8 launch nearby where are all the apps on the Windows Store. According to a post on the Windows Team blog Microsoft has at least managed to sort out the situation of gaming on its incoming platform. Apparently, it has a legion of game developers signed up who are in line to bring Xbox live games for the next generation platform.

Apart from Microsoft Studios, the folks at Redmond have managed to convince Rovio, GameLoft, Zeptolab, Glu mobile and Halfbrick studio to come onboard the Windows 8 ecosystem.
Most of these games will be available after the launch of Windows 8 and all of these apps will tap-in to all the social features of Microsoft’s Xbox live service. The following games will be reportedly be released.
