BlackBerry email services went down in some parts of Europe, Africa and the Middle East reports Reuters. The company has also admitted on its official twitter page that some users in these regions are experiencing issues with the BlackBerry service, however, the services aere being resorted for most users at the moment.
RIM India spokesperson told BGR India that there has been no impact on BlackBerry services in India.
Vodafone confirmed to Reuters that some users were facing issues and they were working with RIM to fix it.
Some users experienced issues with BlackBerry servicestoday. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. All services now operatingnormally.Things could not have been timed more poorly for RIM, as this outage comes on the day Apple releases the iPhone 5.

Last October RIM suffered a global outage with its BlackBerry service that lasted over three days. Then Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis even had to come out and publicly apologize for the ordeal.
While the outage has not reached India, it remains to be seen if this outage is on the scale of the global outage users had to go through last year.
