Google Doodles Basketball for the Olympics

Google is keeping with its tradition of coming up with new Doodles everyday that are related to the sporting events at the ongoing London Olympics. Yesterday, Google had very cute, but challenging, Hurdles 2012 mini game as a Doodle and today we have Basketball.
The game is pretty straight forward, perhaps even a bit too simple for our tastes. One controls the player with the ‘Space Bar’. To start things off one just has to press and hold the space bar and then release it, to shoot the ball in the basketball net. A word of advise, don’t hold on to the space bar for too long as it will inevitably result in ball going way over the net. It’s not very difficult to pull off and we were able to master the game pretty quickly.
Apart from the mini-game bit, Google has added its customary links for replaying the game, a search magnifying glass and its beloved Google+ sharing button.
