Karbonn has launched yet another smartphone in India, the A18 Smart, which runs Android 4.0 and costs Rs 12,990.Powered by a 1GHz single-core processor, the A18 Smart has a 4.3-inch IPS display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, dual-Sim support, 32GB of microSD card support, a 1,500 mAh battery and 3G connectivity.
This is not first device to be launched by a local OEM in this price bracket. Micromax, Spice and Gfive already offer a couple devices with similar specs at similar price points. The Micromax Pixel A90, in particular, would offer stiff competition to Karbonn’s A18.
