Beware: Vodafone India 3G plans are applicable only till June 30

Remember the new Vodafone 3G plans we reported earlier this week? Turns out it is nothing more than a strategy to bait subscribers to hop on to 3G and then probably revert it to older plans. Vodafone India has confirmed to me that the plans are only applicable till June 30. The carrier has not reverted to requests to inform about what the tariffs will be post June 30.
Vodafone’s customer care service failed to inform me about the caveat when I subscribed to the new 3G plan and neither was it revealed during a service call I received from Vodafone to brief me about the plan. Beware! We suggest you not to hop on to the new 3G plans till Vodafone comes clean on what tariffs are applicable post June 30.
