Top five Android malware

Security application vendor Sophos has listed out the top five malware items on Google’s Android platform. The company claims to have gathered the data from more than 118 countries. According to the report the top five malware elements on Android include – Andr/PJApps-C, Andr/BBridge-A,  Andr/Generic-S, Andr/BatteryD-A, and Andr/DrSheep-A.
Notably, Sophos notes that Andr/PJApps-C is perhaps the most common malware accounting 63.4 percent of the total detections. According to Sophos, this very bot is found in most paid apps that have been cracked and installed not via the Google Play market.
