Nokia
empowers its developers with a tool called RDA or Remote Device Access,
from which the developer can remotely test their applications via a
browser on any Nokia device. Well, this tool has had an unexpected side
effect which will not impress the folks from Helsinki. According to
GSM Arena,
the RDA tool has leaked six Nokia smartphones that are under
development. Among these are the Lumia 910, Lumia 920, Lumia 950, Lumia
1001, Nokia 510 and the Nokia 805.
The Lumia 910,920 and 950 all could be
the same phone and could just be the different versions of the same
device tailored for the US carriers and the Lumia 1001 could be a higher
end device. Even industry insider
Eldar Murtazin says that he
had talked about the Lumia 910, 920 and 950, but additionally he seems
to think that one these devices will come equipped with a 12-megapixel
camera.
The Nokia 510 could be a rehashed version of the Nokia 500, but with
better specs and the Nokia 805 could be a version of the PureView 808,
minus, of course the 41-megapixel PureView sensor, notes
IntoMobile,
a theory with which we agree. On the whole, though, there is no
conclusive evidence what these devices will offer, but the Lumia
branding surely indicates towards Windows Phone 8 devices, while the
non-Lumia devices are destined to run Nokia Belle.
