Facebook unveils new ‘Photos’ layout

Facebook has a habit of continuously tinkering with its interface. The social networking website has unveiled a new photo viewing interface that features larger images, to recreate an experience that fills up the screen. The new interface makes it easier to find snaps or albums in which one has tagged or has shared with images with his/her friends.
One can even highlight particular images with the help of the ‘star’ button on the top right corner next to the edit button. This works very similar to timeline posts, as one can currently highlight posts using the ‘star’ button. On the whole, it is a neat little upgrade from the current photo viewing experience that is admittedly a little drab in our opinion, this has the potential to freshen up things a bit.
