Zync launches Z999 Plus tablet for Rs 11,990

Zync has launched the Z999 Plus tablet which runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in India for Rs 11,990.  The device sports a 7-inch display with a WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels, a 1.5GHz single core processor, 512MB of RAM, a Mali 400 GPU, a SIM card slot, a 2-megapixel camera, 0.3-megapixel front facing camera, a HDMI port,  USB OTG for connecting USB pen drives, 8GB of memory with microSD support and a 4,200 mAh battery.
Previously, the company had released the Z990 tablet which also featured a 7-inch display, but had a slower 1.2GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM and had a slightly smaller 3,600 mAh battery, so it remains to be seen how these nominal changes in specs work out for Zync.  Hopefully, also, we do hope that they have worked on the build quality of the device, as the Z990 left a lot to be desired as far as the build as the frame of the device felt extremely fragile and creaky.
