The description of Bluetooth Sharing matches with what we had heard last week about iOS getting a new feature to bridge the iPhone with other Bluetooth 4.0 enabled devices. Some of the suggested use cases could be to get iMessages, record and share voice notes, and even initiate calls from an iPod nano when it is paired with an iPhone.
From the latest iOS 6 beta 4, it becomes clear that users will have control over what apps can share data over Bluetooth. Users will be able to grant or revoke permissions by going to Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth Sharing and checking the list of apps. Of course, app developers will have to make the necessary additions to their apps to get it working.
