HTC Sense 4.1 leaked, brings a number of improvements

HTC was universally lauded for its effort of building beautiful hardware and a rather toned down Sense 4.0 UI with its One series of smartphones. Well, it turns out that was not good enough for the Taiwanese smartphone maker as it is preparing to update Sense 4.0 to a new 4.1 version that will make things even snappier on an already fluid UI. And as all good things, the Sense 4.1 UI has been leaked and put to test by GeekSaber.
Sense 4.1 runs on top of Android 4.0.4 unlike the previous version that ran on Android 4.0.3. This in itself is expected to bring some improvement in performance. Other improvements include improved live wallpaper performance, a dedicated camera button to switch between both the cameras, a dedicated button to switch tabs in the web browser and removal of 3D effects from the home screen, Added ability to remap the recent apps button/long-press recent apps/ long-press Home as menu, a faster kernel and improved battery life which shows gains of at least two hours.
As noted above the ROM is only meant for the international version of the HTC One X and it can be downloaded via the XDA-Developers forum here.
