NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover finds Angry Birds on the red planet

It has been mere minutes since NASA’s Mars Space Laboratory aka the Curiosity rover has landed on the surface of the red planet and we are already witnessing some unusual activity. The rover’s camera has detected some unidentified flying objects but we are yet to get details since the Odyssey has flown away from the landing zone and will be able to transmit more images only during its next flyby. However, one image was transmitted and we have a fair idea of what it could possibly be. Read on…
While we wait for an official confirmation, from the looks of it there is indeed life on the red planet! Though certainly not the kind we had envisioned. The first photograph from the Curiosity rover shows an Angry Bird in flight. Repeat. The first sign of life on Mars is that of an Angry Bird, which means the pigs cannot be far behind. After inhabiting space, Angry Birds have been sighted on Mars. We will bring an update as soon as Odyssey makes another flyby over Curiosity and reports what these birds are doing on the red planet. In the meanwhile, check out the evidence here.
