Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note II on August 29: Reuters

Samsung has confirmed to Reuters that it will launch the next version of the Galaxy Note on August 29 in Berlin, two days before IFA starts. The event will be a dedicated event like the one the company hosted for the Galaxy S III in London back in May. Samsung has started sending out invitations for the ‘Mobile Unpacked’ event to the press.
The next Galaxy Note could perhaps sport a 5.5-inch display that reportedly will be ‘unbreakable’. Apart from this usual generational upgrades should be expected like the new quad-core Exynos processor used in the Galaxy S III, a better camera, maybe a slightly larger battery and surely the device will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Maybe if we are lucky, who knows Samsung may pull a rabbit out of the hat and give us the latest version of Android, Jelly Bean, but that is highly unlikely considering the new OS was only launched a month ago.
