HTC One X+ officially announced, ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

HTC has finally announced the One X+ which is the successor to the critically acclaimed One X. The new smartphone will run on the latest version of Android called Jelly Bean unlike its acclaimed sibling, the One X.

HTC has further refined the One X design and feature set. Among the notable additions, it comes with a more powerful 2,100 mAh battery and HTC claims that it delivers up to 50 percent more battery life than previous models. Another addition is the presence of a more powerful Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 64GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and a presence of an audio amplifier like the recently announced Windows Phone 8X.
Other features of the phone include, a 4.7-inch S-LCD2 display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture with a HTC Image Sense chip and a 1.6-megapixel camera that also can utilize the image sense chip for post-processing. HTC has also slightly tweaked the Sense UI, with major enhancements being added to the Gallery application that can now act as a hub for all photography applications.
HTC says that it will ship the One X+ later this month in Europe, and no information regarding price and Indian release date has been announced.
