LG Nexus 4 goes up for pre-order in UK before Google announcement

The LG Nexus 4 has gone up for pre-order with UK based phone retailer CarPhone Warehouse even before Google’s October 29 announcement. Interestingly, according to the listing the device ships on October 30, a day after the official announcement. Previously
, an unnamed LG official had told BGR India that a LG made Nexus smartphone will be launched in India in a few weeks.
The listing also more or less confirms the rumored specs that have been doing the rounds. According to the listing it will have a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and 9.1mm thickness. The listing also confirms Android 4.2 and says that it will come with new features a 360-degree camera, which could be Google’s take on a panorama mode and gesture typing which could point towards SWYPE like input.
Notably, the listing fails to call Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie, but maintains the Jelly Bean name. Google had previously maintained the Android version nomenclature for its point updates with Android Honeycomb.
Additionally, The Verge is reporting that the smartphone will be offered in white and black models and the SIM free version will cost £390 that approximately is Rs 34,000.
