Nokia Asha 311 launched for Rs 7,139

Nokia today launched the Asha 311, an all-touch feature phone running Nokia’s Series 40 operating system. Boasting a 3-inch 240×400 pixel capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla glass display, the Asha 311 runs on Nokia’s new swipe-based UI that reminds us a little of what we saw in the N9.
Other specifications include a 1GHz processor with 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and 140MB of internal storage. It also features a microSD card slot, a 3.2-megapixel camera, stereo FM radio, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Nokia claims its 1100mAh battery has enough juice to play up to 40 hours of music or calls up to 14 hours on 2G and 6 hours on 3G. Nokia is hoping that the Asha 311 would compete with entry-level Android smartphones from Samsung, LG and the local Indian brands.
Priced at Rs 7,139 , Nokia has bundled 40 free EA game titles.
