For sometime there have been rumors about a Samsung smartphone that will have features similar to the Galaxy S III but in a slightly smaller form factor. Samsung did launch the Galaxy S III
Mini but it turned out to be mid-end smartphone. Today, GSM Arena has leaked images of the Galaxy Premier, which it believes will fill the void in Samsung’s product lineup after LG launches its Nexus smartphone, which will almost definitely replace the Galaxy Nexus as the flagship Google phone.
The Galaxy Premier according to the report has the model number i9260 which slots perfectly between the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Nexus. The specs also state the same. According to the leak it has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.65-inch display with a 1280×720 resolution, a 8-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal and a microSD card slot.
Looks wise also it maintains a stark resemblance with the Galaxy S III but in a slightly smaller package. The only difference is presence of a prominent chrome strip that wraps along the bezel and the back has a matte finish.
