Apple is hosting a special event today where it is rumored to unveil a smaller 7.85-inch iPad, which is being called the iPad mini. The event might also have cameo appearances by a 13-inch MacBook Pro
with Retina Display, a refreshed iPad with Lightning connector and the 2012 range of iMacs. Apple rarely live streams press events but it seems they are about to make an exception tonight as they have sent out notifications to Apple TV users about how they can catch the live stream of the press conference.
UPDATE: It turns out that not only Apple TV owners but all Apple users can watch it online. Apple has set up an online channel where the event will be live streamed! The page mentions users have to be using Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. The press conference begins at 10:30 PM IST.
