Wickedleak has launched two Android Jelly Bean tablets – the Wammy Desire and Wammy Athena in India for Rs 6,499 and Rs 13,999 respectively. The Wammy Desire is a 7-inch tablet, while the Wammy Athena is a 9.7-inch tablet.
The Wammy Desire is powered by an ARM A9 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a Mali 400 GPU and it combines this power with 1GB of RAM and a 7-inch capacitive display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and 5 multi-touch points. It has 8GB of internal storage which can expanded via a microSD card slot and a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera. Additionally it comes with a plethora of ports including HDMI, USB and has a 3,000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Wammy Athena is a 9.7-inch model and has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels which is the same as the iPad 2. The internal remain more or less the same as the Wammy Desire as it also has a ARM A9 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal memory which also can be expanded via microSD card slot and has twin 2.0-megapixel cameras for both the front and rear. On the connectivity front it also has a number of ports including HDMI and USB and it also packs in a large 8,000 mAh battery with a rated life of up to 6 hours.
Both the tablets can be pre-ordered from www.wickedleak.org and shipping will commence from October 14 onwards.
