French wire service AFP is reporting that Apple has settled with Swiss railways over the iOS 6 clock dispute. According to the report Apple paid the Swiss rail operator SBB $21 million in October to continue using the clock on iOS that is used in the companies mobile products – iPhone, iPod
Touch, iPad mini and iPad.
Back in September, SBB claimed that Apple was using its iconic clock without permission. While it was flattered by the notion of Apple imitating the design of the iconic clock, it wanted to find out why Apple had used the design without taking permission.
