Videocon ‘Dost’ series mobile phones launched in India starting at Rs 1,799

Videocon has launched its ‘Dost’ series of mobile phones in India, which starts at Rs 1,799. The ‘Dost’ series comprises of four models that includes the V1542, the V1528, the VG1531+, and the V1544. All models have dual-SIM
capabilities.
Starting with the V1542, Videocon has added a 2.6-inch WQVGA display, a 1,800-mAh battery, FM radio and a 1.3-megapixel camera. It will cost Rs 2,099. The V1528 has a smaller 2.4-inch TFT display, a 1,500-mAh battery, FM radio and a 1.3-megapixel camera. It costs Rs 1,799.
The VG1531+ also has a 2.4-inch display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 1,500-mAh battery and a FM radio. It costs Rs 1,849. The V1544 is the most expensive model at Rs 2,399 as it has a very large 3,000-mAh battery, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 2.6-inch display, and a FM radio.
