Nokia gearing to launch Lumia 900, Lumia 610 in India for Rs 28,000 & Rs 11,000: Report

Nokia India hasn’t had much to talk about since the launch of the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 last December. That is reportedly set to change with the impending launch of the Lumia 900 and Lumia 610 in June. OnlyGizmos is reporting Nokia India is starting its sales team training for the two Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones in India this week and will be launched in June. The Lumia 900 is likely to be priced at Rs 28,000 and the Lumia 610 at Rs 11,000.
The Lumia 900 comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm single-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras and 16GB of internal memory. The Lumia 610, on the other hand, is the entry-level Windows Phone device with a 3.7-inch WVGa display, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 256MB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 800MHz processor. At the moment we are not sure whether Nokia will launch the NFC enabled version of the Lumia 610 or not.
Nokia has multiple product launches pending for India, including the PureView 808 camera phone, which was scheduled to be launched in May. The Finnish handset vendor is also expected to announce its music services for Windows Phone devices, which it had earlier said would happen in the first half of this year. Probably, it would announce the music service along with the Lumia 900 and Lumia 610.
