Nokia says it isn’t so, removes PureView 808 pricing from online store

Here we go again! The PureView 808 India launch has to be one of the most intriguing ones in recent times. The flip-flop continues with whether it has been launched in India or not and at what price. Hot on the heels of our report of it being available for Rs 29,999 on Nokia’s own online store, Nokia India has yanked the price information from the product page and is now simply saying it will be available soon.

We understand that the price information was put up accidentally and this was the same price that was present in the product’s page source code, which Nokia had claimed to be “dummy price.” It is now clear that Nokia has not launched the PureView 808, yet and in all probability it won’t be priced at Rs 29,999.
We know it is too confusing and hopefully Nokia would just launch the product and clear all the mess.
