Nokia teases Lumia 900 Batman Edition

Nokia today Tweeted a photographs of the Lumia 900 Batman edition. The limited edition device will have the Dark Knight’s branding etched on its rear. Earlier, Nokia had launched the limited Batman edition of the Lumia 800, which came in its custom box with just 40 units available. This time, however, it seems Nokia might have some more units to sell, though it is expected to be available only in a handful of European countries. The launch could probably be timed with the build-up to the release of Dark Knight Rises, which will hit screens in July.

This is not the first time Nokia is collaborating with the Batman franchise. The Dark Knight featured the Nokia 5800 outfitted with Sonar tech. Nevertheless, we don’t really know what’s the big deal with having a Batman logo etched behind a phone. Not that one is getting the keys to Batmobile. But we do know many people who’d be lining up to grab one anyway.
