Dark Knight Rises game coming to iOS and Android this summer

Gameloft has just released a trailer for the mobile version of the Dark Knight Rises game which will hit iOS and Android devices later this summer.
The trailer shows off the caped crusader performing his legendary tricks and some vivid graphical wizardry. If the trailer is anything to go by, then the Dark Knight rises may turn out to be one of the most impressive games, graphically, for a mobile device. It’s important to realize that the trailer showed off gameplay footage, not a CG render and that’s why we believe gameplay aside, the game will need each and every ounce of the quad-core graphics on a iPad or a Tegra 3 chip on Android.
Apart from this, the game looks quite reminiscent to the Batman Arkham series of console games in terms of gameplay and gamers will need to fight the usual suspects from the Batman universe and prowl about in Gotham City.
This will be most probably be a movie tie in, like the one we recently witnessed for Men in Black 3. Earlier in the week, a signature version of Wii U was announced but that was for last years blockbuster game, Batman Arkham Asylum.
A week ago we heard that a signature version of the Nokia Lumia 900 was also coming, which follows the previously released signature Batman version of the Lumia 800. Considering that Nokia is making a signature version of its flagship smartphone, one has to wonder why a Windows Phone version of the game is not in the works. Maybe, Gameloft is not ready to announce it, who knows, but it definitely is strange considering the tie up Nokia has with Warner Brothers as even in the previous Batman movie, the Dark Knight, Nokia phones were used exclusively.
Till we can have our fixation of the rubber clad, caped crusader, we would suggest heading below and checking out the trailer below.
