The PureView 808 probably has the best camera we have ever seen on a smartphone. Touting a massive 41-megapixel camera sensor, Nokia uses over-sampling technology that merges seven pixels into one, giving unprecedented quality in 5-megapixel shots. The large sensor also captures more details than one would expect from a camera phone. Heck, we are already calling it our point-and-shoot camera replacement after playing with it for a few hours. It also captures excellent videos and Nokia is making noise about its Dolby Surround Sound technology while capturing audio and playback.
It runs on Nokia’s Belle platform and sports a 4-inch VGA display, which is not at par with what we are used to using on flagship smartphones. It also has 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. Of course, it has most connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and even an FM transmitter.
So what do you think about the PureView 808′s pricing?
