Apple could unveil iPhone 5, iPod touch, iPad mini on Sep 12; iPhone 5 set for Sep 21 release

Apple could hold a press event on September 12 to introduce a range of next generation iOS devices, which could include the iPhone 5, iPad mini and a new iPod touch. The news comes from iMore, which received information from a sources who have been “accurate in the past.” The site also mentions that the iPhone 5 will go on sale from September 21.
Rumors about the iPhone 5 have gained steam with bigger leaks happening almost on a daily basis. Over the weekend we had photographs of someone who had assembled the iPhone 5′s housing with leaked parts and today we have a video of the assembled device (embedded below). The iPhone 5 is expected to have a taller, closer to 4-inch display, a new 19-pin dock connector and support for 4G LTE. All leaks so far have pointed towards a thinner design with a two-toned metallic back.
The iPad mini is expected to have a 7-inch display and retail for under $300. The next generation iPod touch, meanwhile, is also expected to sport the same display as the iPhone 5.
