Apple reportedy working on new iPod touch, iPod nano for September launch

Apple is reported to be working on refreshing its iPod range in September, which did not receive any significant update last year. According to sources in the Asian manufacturing circuit, the new iPod touch could feature a taller 4-inch display, which has been rumored for the iPhone 5 as well. Other rumors indicate the iPod touch would feature a dual-core A5 processor like the iPhone 4S and have an iPad-like aluminum back.
Apple is also expected to refresh the iPod nano this year, which got minor a software update last year. This time it is rumored that Apple might go back to the tall design from 2009 but sport a bigger touchscreen. The new iPod nano could also replace the legendary clickwheel with the home button found in all iOS devices. This could probably mean that the iPod nano could also run on iOS but we won’t hold our collective breaths for that to happen.
