Micromax
is all set to launch the Funbook Pro, its second Android tablet. Unlike
the first 7-inch Funbook, the Pro has a larger 10.1-inch 1024×600 pixel
display and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Micromax has also
doubled the RAm to 1GB and has increased the internal storage to 8GB. But you already knew that. What’s new is we have been able to put a price tag to the Funbook Pro, thanks to an early listing on SnapDeal.
The online retailer has the tablet in stock and is selling it for Rs
9,999. Micromax is also bundling a Tata Docomo Photon+ data card, just
like it did with the Funbook.Micromax is probably among the first
homegrown brands to launch a sub-Rs 10,000 tablet with a 10,1-inch
display. Most Android tablets these days sport a 7-inch display,
