New Twitter app released for BlackBerry, now supports expanded tweets

After launching the revamped Twitter app experience for Android and iOS, Twitter has launched a new revamped application for BlackBerry 7 smartphones. The new 3.1 update brings forwards new features like expanded tweets, and a new conversations view which shows a conversation thread and retweets. Notably, the application will only work with BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry 0S 5 and beyond.
Additionally, like its Android and iOS cousins, the new BlackBerry Twitter application also now flaunts the new Twitter logo which was unveiled a few months ago and dumps larry the bird, the previous logo of the service. Lastly, again like the iOS and Android counterpart, Twitter for BlackBerry now features a new redesigned sign in screen. The application can be downloaded for free from the BlackBerry App World.
