Instagram has rolled out version 3.0 of the popular photo sharing app that brings in the ability to view photos on a map. Users can pin their geo-tagged photos to maps and club photos taken at a location into an album of sorts. Users will be able to view not only their photos on a map but also photos from other users’ profile pages. While the feature might be new to Instagram, it has been available on Flickr for long and has even been available on iOS as a default feature in the photos menu.
Other new features in the update include automatic infinite scrolling as well as a faster browsing and loading experience. Users will now be able to flag individual comments and pictures as well. Download Instagram 3.0 for iOS here or for Android here.
