Nimbuzz crosses 100 million users, India accounts for 17 million users

Cross platform IM service Nimbuzz has announced it has more than 100 million users. The company points out that out of its 100 million users from 80 countries, 17 million users come from India alone, while the Middle East makes up for around 30 million users, 14 million from South Asia and the rest coming from Africa, Europe and the US.
Nimbuzz, a Dutch company, had shifted base to India recently in wake of the growth coming from its Asian clientele. As of now Nimbuzz supports 4,000 devices and offers a social messaging platform that integrates Facebook, Twitter, MSN messenger, GTalk and Yahoo.
Currently, Nimbuzz has applications readily available for multiple platforms that include iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, J2ME, Windows, Mac and as well as a web client. You can download the app from here for free.
