Nokia Windows Phone display panel pops up

We now know that Nokia and Microsoft are hosting an event in New York on September 5, to unveil the next generation Windows Phone 8 smartphones. While that happens, the WP8 Lumia leaks are not stopping. WPCentral is reporting that a Nokia Windows Phone display panel has just popped up, which seems like a reference display of sorts.
The reference panel is 4.3-inches tall and it could either be a 1280x720pixels panel or a more run of the mill 800×480 panel.
One thing is for sure, that this will be a mid-range device, rather than a flagship, because of the fact the reference panel is a separate part and not part of a uni-body shell like the one we have seen with current Nokia flagships – the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 900.
It would be highly unlikely for Nokia to dump the critically acclaimed industrial design for something decidedly lowered-end, especially for a flagship phone that launches with Windows Phone 8, but as we always say, never say never.
