Samsung teases Windows 8 ready “innovation” for IFA

Samsung has much more than the Galaxy Note II to unveil at IFA, which begins in Berlin later this week. The Korean electronics giant is teasing what it calls its “newest Windows 8 ready innovation,” which we believe would be announced at the show. The teaser video gives glimpses of what looks like a clamshell notebook with the same finish as we have earlier seen in its Series 5 notebooks. However, there seems to be something more to it.
The video also gives a quick glance at what could possibly be a stylus slot behind the display. Also notice from the screengrab above that Samsung’s logo is placed on the back of what is likely to be the keyboard rather than the display, which is the norm. This gives us the impression that Samsung could possibly be working on a Surface-like hybrid device. Could this be the Windows 8 equivalent of the Galaxy Note 10.1 along with a snap-on keyboard like the Surface? We will find out pretty soon.
