Micromax
seems to be on crazy phone releasing streak. For the last few weeks it
has been releasing new phones at a breathtaking pace. Today it has
launched the A87 Ninja 4.The Android 2.3 Gingerbread device is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch WVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, and a 1,400 mAh battery.
While competing local Indian OEMs are continuing to reduce price points of their devices, Micromax is able to not only reduce the price points while also raising the quality of components. For instance, Micromax has started adding Qualcomm chipsets in its phones, that are decidedly more reliable, powerful and power efficient than smartphones using chipsets made by Chinese companies like Rockchip.
