Samsung’s QWERTY/Touch Galaxy Chat Android smartphone is now available with online retailers at for Rs 8,490. The phone combines the utility of Android 4.0 with a QWERTY keyboard, which makes it a formidable competitor to the slew of BlackBerry Curve smartphones in the market.
The Galaxy Chat features a 3.0-inch TFT display with a QVGA resolution and runs on a 850MHz single processor. The device has 4GB of onboard memory and also has a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB of memory. Additionally, there is 2-megapixel camera and a 1,200 mAh battery. The Galaxy Chat also comes preloaded with Samsung’s ChatOn messenger.
As usual the Android 4.0 smartphone comes with a topping of Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. The phone is available in three colors – White, Black and Pink. While the White and Black models are shipping readily however, the Pink model is currently out of stock.
