Swiss Federal Railways and Mondaine planning legal action against Apple over new iOS 6 clocks app

Many may not know, but amongst the 200 new features introduced in iOS 6, there resides a new clocks application.
While the app does allow users to select different clock themes, it seems like some Swiss watch makers are not exactly happy. Swiss newspaper Blick.ch is reporting that the Swiss Federal Railways and watchmaker Mondaine are not exactly happy about the new clock themes introduced in iOS 6. Currently, Mondaine exclusively owns the license for the classic Swiss railway clock, and the clocks themes introduced in iOS 6 are distinctively reminiscent of the iconic Swiss railway clock.
Reportedly, both parties are flattered by Apple’s imitation and but feel that Apple should have seeked to get the appropriate rights. Mondaine in fact is exploring legal options, to what they believe is their intellectual property.
