Nokia has lost over a $2 billion in the two last quarters and with its new Lumia smartphones not expected till November, one cannot underestimate how bad things might be in Q3 and Q4.
A report by Reuters highlights how bad things are getting for the once indefatigable smartphone company as it is looking to sell off its iconic headquarters in Espoo, Finland, which is also known as Nokia House.
In an earnings call last quarter the company had indicated that it will attempt to improve its finances by divesting all non-core parts including real-estate properties owned by it. Its headquarters in Espoo, Finland is a glass and steel building that faces the Baltic Sea and it is valued between $259 and $388 million.
