Zync Z1000 9.7-inch Android tablet launched for Rs 10,990

Zync has launched the Z1000 Android tablet in India for Rs 10,990. It is a 9.7-inch tablet, which has a display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels, the same as the iPad 2 and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor based on the ARM Cortex A8 design and has 1GB of RAM.

Additionally, it has 8GB of built-in memory, a TF card slot, mini HDMI and micro USB support. The Wi-Fi only tablet can also connect to 3G networks via a USB dongle. It has a 7,000 mAh battery and has 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera. Zync says that the tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Zync also states that the tablet will be available via most major online retailers.
