Lava has created a music player app for Android called the Fusion Music Play and it is now available for download on the Google Play store. It is a free app and is devoid of any ads, so music buffs can download it and try it out without the fear of
advertisements.
Lava is touting it as a music discovery platform based on Album and Artist. It features an intuitive search mechanism that enables instant access to online music. That said, Lava does not have any content tie-ups. The app is based on the Ice Cream Sandwich design UI so, Android’s new swipe UX is at the fore.
It also has a lock-screen widget, a notification bar widget, and has unique features like shake and wave gestures. It will automatically update album art and artist information like other music players like DoubleTwist and PowerAMP. It has a 12-band equalizer so audiophiles who like to perfectly tune their music can do that too. Lava has also added a song visualizer with multiple effects.
Adding to its wide array of features, there is also social network integration in the form of Twitter and Facebook and also YouTube, and it will even create dynamic playlists. Another interesting feature is the presence of an Internet radio with access to 7,400 radio stations. Apart from this, it will also provide weekly online charts for top songs and artists from Bollywood.
Even though its interface is designed using the guidelines Google provided developers for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it will be compatible with Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones.
