Tata Docomo has launched the Fujitsu F-074 waterproof smartphone in India for Rs 21,900. Tata Docomo postpaid customers can avail a free premium number for life and free 3G data for three months with 1GB of data, unlimited local and STD calls on any network along with the phone. Prepaid customers can recharge FRC 250 and get 1GB data for two months. The F-074 is a made-in-Japan
smartphone, so certain features like waterproofing and a big display are standard features.
The phone itself features an AMOLED display and has a super slim profile at 6.7mm, weighs only 105 grams and sports a 5-megapixel camera. Tata Docomo says that 40 percent of smartphone problems happen due to water, and hence the waterproofing on the Fujitsu F-074 is a boon to the end user. Additionally, it also has the Motion Conscious Audio system that checks the environment and modulates the incoming voice to give the user clear voice quality.
